Gifts

When it comes to giving gifts, I’ve found that all those people out there who never know what they want, or never seem to want anything are pleased with gift cards.  The gift card is a safe bet for most any person, the trick is finding out the place where they would like to spend it.  I’ve found the best way to accomplish this is by asking a close friend or relative of theirs.  Gift cards are available from pretty much every store out there, even little mom and pop places you wouldn’t think about.

If you just can’t figure out where a person shops, a VISA gift card seems a little impersonal, but they will still love it because they can spend it anywhere and get what they want.

There’s this stigma attached to gift cards that suggest that the gift giver isn’t too keen on the recipient’s tastes.  But there’s an advantage to giving out a gift card.  Gift cards can be used at stores for the recipient to purchase exactly what they want, therefore, bypassing the awkward feeling of either giving a gift they already had, or didn’t want.

Gift cards may seem like cop-outs, but in actuality, they’re far more functional than novelty snakes-in-a-peanut-can.
